A new fixed Oshirix livecd with real boot splash and grub replacing isolinux will be release very soon.

The previous released of oshirix-kde uses script for the bootsplash. This time it will use bootsplash patch built into kernel. This means, user could have their own choice of bootsplash once installed to hdd. Bootsplash themes can be installed by using apt.

Grub will takeover isolinux as a boot menu. Meaning more option will be included.

Oshirix is done but will never be perfect. It was built as a project for members of mambang community.
It was based on Kanotix and of cause derived from Debian distribution.
For a start, we use kernel 2.6.11 and Fluxbox as Desktop. Most of the application included will suffice daily work.
